Adherence to manual of style

[edit]

This repeated change with what looks like a claim to be 100% in compliance with the manual of style is actually the opposite. The first issue is MOS:DABPRIMARY. There is a primary topic which is Israr Ahmed and it should not be mixed in with other entries and should appear at the top. The link to the article has also been piped. That is not needed and is not one of the accepted uses documented at MOS:DABPIPING. -- Whpq (talk) 03:18, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Whpq is correct. This edit violates MOS:DABPRIMARY ("a link back to the primary topic appear at the top, in a brief explanatory sentence"), MOS:DABENTRY (entries should not be in bold) and MOS:DABPIPE ("Apart from the exceptions listed below [none of which apply here], piping and redirects should generally not be used on disambiguation pages"), for starters. I'm reverting back to a MOS-compliant page. @Iamsanatani: consider this an invocation of WP:BRD and do not reinstate your changes without reaching a consensus here. Second this and add that MOS:CREDENTIAL was violated as well... —swpbT • go beyond • bad idea 14:44, 5 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
