Must try to find a better alternative for the second, which is a raw PDF hosted somewhere unofficial. In the PDF biography he is noted to be a kohen, he had a doctorate, and his Hebrew name was Yishai. JFW | T@lk 23:15, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Much of his theological influence was from Yom Tov Lipman Rakow, alumnus of Volozhin, who resided in Bavaria during Grunfeld's youth. Rakow's sons were themselves influential British rabbis. JFW | T@lk 20:36, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing

[edit]

After the excellent edits by Victuallers‎ I am once again stuck with the sourcing of the remaining content. When I created the article I relied on the PDF above (which is still at the same location).

I have found an email address for the subject's son and I have contacted him to request further information, and also for a photo that could be uploaded to Commons. JFW | T@lk 19:06, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Turns out that the missing bits are in the Jewish Press article already listed. Have added references. Awaiting response on the image rights. JFW | T@lk 20:08, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Oh I found this[1] Hope that helps:) Do have a look at Judith Grunfeld and see if you can find some errors/additions. Victuallers (talk) 20:11, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Victuallers: Wow thanks for finding that! I can now cite this properly. JFW | T@lk 22:20, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
