page for Edward F. Kelly

[edit]

I want to create a page for the lead author of this book. Can people help? It has some citations in Philapapers here https://philpapers.org/citations/KELIMT — Preceding unsigned comment added by Spiratoral (talkcontribs) 11:52, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

how do I create a page?

Why not adding Kelly's reply to a negative review?

[edit]

I restored an earlier version of this which included author's reply to one of the negative reviews. It was first removed as undue weight. I restored it saying if the authors view was undue why should there be an entry in the first place? Now it is removed as not being part of the reception. Well, I think a reply to a reception belongs to the reception. Doesn't it?! 194.225.170.185 (talk) 21:37, 29 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No. The Kelly's reply is adequately summarized. The details you inserted are fringe oppinions that doesn't add useful content and can be easily accessed checking the source. Cardeña is not a reliable source. Ixocactus (talk) 02:04, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for reply. I don't see how those details are fringe. The author says the reviewers have just ignored the vast documentation of empirical phenomena he has cited to back up his theory. That looks like a an important flaw in the AJP review which I have personally read and verified. I don't see why this important point should be removed, and his reply be reduced to only two lines. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.225.170.185 (talk) 05:40, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As for Cardena I agree and in fact I removed it myself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.225.170.185 (talk) 05:42, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
