I have converted this page to a redirect - this isn't even a person, just a guess. It is not a question of whether a historical Irene married Emiric. Emeric had a wife. Based on political considerations, some have hypothesized that she might have been related to Emperor Constantine IX (but that doesn't necessarily mean she was a Monomachina, as opposed to being a niece through a sister, and hence with a different surname). Likewise, that such a princess might have been named Irene is a guess, and so 'Irene Monomachina' was created out of thin air to be this Byzantine wife of Emeric, yet others think Emeric's wife had a different derivation entirely. As such, it will never be possible to give authentic biographical details of 'Irene' independent of the simple statement that some think Emeric had a wife of this name, so there is no independent notability for this 'woman'.
