- The building at 108 Cathedral Place was originally built in 1921 as downtown Santa Fe's federal building and included its main post office on the ground floor, as is often the case with downtown federal buildings all over America. After a new federal building/post office was built on Federal Place in the 1970s, the old one was added to the National Register of Historic Places and then converted to the IAIA and its IAIA Museum in the 1980s. In the past few years, the museum's name was changed to the Museum of Contemporary Native Arts to avoid confusion with IAIA's new campus (as of 2000) south of town on a road called Avan Nu Po. The photo in the info box is the downtown museum on Cathedral Place that no longer uses the IAIA name. ˜˜˜˜ — Preceding unsigned comment added by LookVisions (talk • contribs) 22:29, 5 July 2014 (UTC)
