keep the article
[edit]IC is a unique Internet Community. It is not a vanity article, any more than Chi Psi fraternity would be. Typical response from Duke graduate. user:brewguru
don't delete
[edit]I wouldn't delete this; Inside Carolina is a unique internet institution used by tens of thousands of people.
vote for deletion
[edit]Is this article really necessary? Hasn't this been an article before then deleted a bunch of times already? I might be biased but IC is just a branch of scout.com. I understand that it used to be its own entity but I don't really see the need for this article. I recommend that this be deleted (again) on the grounds that it is a vanity page

New content
[edit]Please remember that additions to this article should include a reference. Also, vandalizing the page isn't very helpful at all; if you don't like the page, there's an AfD. Isopropyl 15:34, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
Famous threads/slang guide
[edit]I have removed the "famous threads" and the slang guide section of the page. If the thread is sufficiently notable as to be referenced to an outside publication, you may mention it within the body of the article, but please do not create a list of nonnotable forum threads. Also, Wikipedia is not a slang dictionary; see WP:NOT for clarification. Isopropyl 16:01, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

no reason to delete
[edit]The IC forum is the most popular on the entire scout.com network, there should be absolutely no reason to delete it. It serves as a place to discuss UNC athletics and also a chance for people to meet at the games, tailgate and hangout. Squadoosh 12:02, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
Should NOT be deleted
[edit]The above post by "drunkasian" is incorrect. Inside Carolina is 100% independently owned - they merely have a publishing contract with Scout.com, as is the case with all other publishers on Scout.com. Scout.com does not own or control any of Inside Carolina content. So this article should most certainly not be deleted. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.177.137.244 (talk) 17:10, 16 May 2007 (UTC).
