Mistake about no incentive during the Empire
[edit]I suggest taking a look at Economy of the Empire of Brazil under section "Industry". Not only the industrial sector grew during the monarchy, but it also received incentive from the Government. - --Lecen (talk) 19:30, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Adding subsections to Brazilian industrial sector
[edit]I did quite a bit of work to this section of the article, addressing grammar, paragraphs that were too long, etc, but there is still a lot to do. I tagged the top of the section that it needs to be broken up into smaller subsections and I'm seeking a consensus on how best to go about this. The entire article is super long and detailed. Would it be enough to just add subsections to break up each type up industry? Is this a situation that would call for splitting the article since it's so long?
