Buddhist Scriptures First Transmitted to China by the Kushans (Yuezhi Tribe) from Central Asia
[edit]Buddhism was first transmitted into China by the Kushans, an originally Central Asian non-Indic Yuezhi tribe. They acted as the earliest transmitters of Buddhist scriptures via the Silk Road to the Han Chinese Empire.
