Barry number of stars

Hi, I don't understand why it is showing Barry as winning 5 stars in the Star count table and yet he didn't get any? MSalmon (talk) 09:15, 23 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oti immunity

Hi, it seems people keep changing Barry and Maura's ranking to 8th and 7th respectively, however as the table reflects the results of the public vote it should be out of 7 not 8 so Barry should be 7th and Maura 6th. The ranking within the show is now based of off overall rank, hence why Barry has been referred to as the celebrity in 8th place, some previous series have ranked differently because they revealed individual percentages of votes each celeb got afterwards thus "calculated" position based off of that and so immunity in the vote counted towards the ranking. The public vote determines who leaves on the day still, they just stopped with the day-day vote ranking, and opted to rank the celebrity as they leave based on their leaving position. This was done based off of criticism after series 18 where quite a few times the bottom two ended up with the lowest ranked celeb being in the "bottom two" with a celeb placed in 4th position, which lead to accusations of fixing. The results table ranking is supposed to reflect the ranking used by the show, yes that used to be where each celebrity has placed in the public vote for that days, but the show itself dropped that part moving over to overall ranking. Lavalizard101 (talk) 15:47, 6 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes because that is what the show used to use for ranking, the show changed how it ranked celebs, although since that change there has been no immunity until this year so this hasn't really been any observable deviance between the two since the change.
