Euro banknote material

[edit]

The EU's euro banknotes are cotton fibre and will stay that way when new banknotes are introduced in the late 2020s: https://www.ecb.europa.eu/euro/banknotes/production/html/index.en.html https://www.ecb.europa.eu/euro/banknotes/future_banknotes/html/ecb.faq_banknotes_redesign.en.html - Q8. Reference 25 also shows the material as cotton fibre. 82.144.58.169 (talk) 12:57, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
