- Colonel Hugo O'Conor was the Commandant Inspector of the Interior Provinces of New Spain.
- He was appointed Governor of Texas and seated in San Antonio upon the conclusion of his inspection of the administration of that province.
since they are objectively impossible (His post was abolished to make way for the new IP commandant; there was no gov of Texas or San Antone at this point.) Unsure how inaccurate rest of article still is. -LlywelynII (talk) 00:05, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
- Hm, well, source & List of Texas Governors and Presidents have him at a time where he could settle in SA. Teodoro de Croix says he was the first CIP, though; and source says 'Red Captain' a sign of affection from Mexican creoles, not approbation from Apache braves. -LlywelynII (talk) 00:14, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
