Informal Housing addition
[edit]I've been working on the Informal Sector page. Included in that article is a large section on Informal Housing and a subsection on Informal Housing in Developing Countries. However, after reviewing the sources, it isn't directly relevant to the informal economy. As such, to preserve the material, I've added it to the Housing page, where it is more relevant. Let me know if you think there's a better solution! Kvanschilfgaarde (talk) 22:13, 23 November 2014 (UTC)

Macroeconomy and housing price
[edit]I'm confused by the current "Macroeconomy and housing price" section. It lists extremely detailed model estimates in great depth. But it's not clear if these are real or nominal dollars, for example. And it's not clear what the context is: all the figures seem to come from a single paper (Li et al) examining the Hong Kong context and do not seem to reflect broader social science or economic consensus across a body of literature. Is this section appropriate as written? Thegreatootdoors (talk) 17:09, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
- This section of the Macroeconomy and housing price is confusing and unclear. There also isn't any clear links to the citations, this section excludes links to citations which is questionable where and if the in formation provided is reliable. The facts in this section seem to not come from reliable references since the citations are unclear to the readers. ----revanda faraj (talk) 11.48, 25 April 2022 (UTC) Revanda Faraj (talk) 23:48, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
Don't even know where to start
[edit]...so I tagged it. Honestly what does the Macroeconomy and housing price section even mean? —valereee (talk) 01:28, 16 September 2020 (UTC)
- The section of "Macroeconomy and housing price" section means and relates to the costs of housing and what had happened in the economy which led to the increase of housing prices. For example, there were lots of areas where it includes information about the United States interest rates and how they increased which led to the increase of mortgage repayments. Also, including the area about how housing prices rose due to the money supply also increasing, this explains why there are such high housing prices in the United States. This is all reliable information because it explains how housing works and how it increases and decreases. The only downfall is how the citations don't work so we don't exactly know if the information is reliable. -revanda faraj (talk) 12:07, 25 April 2022 (UTC) Revanda Faraj (talk) 00:07, 26 April 2022 (UTC)

Macroeconomy and housing price
[edit]The information provided in this section of "Macroeconomy and housing price" seems to be out of date because all of the statistics such as the consumer price index, U.S interest rates, etc seem to be from 2018 which was before or during the covid pandemic in the United States. There has been so much things that have changed since 2018, so the information is put off date. The economy and housing have changed, they have increased and risen. This needs to be up to date to currently, 2022. ----revanda faraj (talk) 11:55, 25 April 2022 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Revanda Faraj (talk • contribs)
