The article is full of facts that indicate its importance. For example, its prime location at 1 Leicester Square, its large capacity of approximately 2000, famous DJs and also that it was populare and considered a "superclub". Not to mention the fact it was important enough to feature in two BBC News articles, and be the primary topic of discussion at a meeting for Westminster Council (see the references section).
If this doesn't constitute an indication of importance, what does?
It appears that the 'Home' site is currently the location of 2 clubs - 'Sound' on the lower floors and 'Vertigo' on the upper floors - 'Sound' was formerly located in the swiss centre.

Apart from the innovative interior design it also created the GMI (Global Multimedia Interface) on the outside structure of the building. A 66sqm interactive video screen showing digital art from around the world and directly linked via video to major captol cities.
