Mibu-Ro
[edit]The term 壬生浪(Mibu-Ro: Ronin of Mibu) was NOT insulting; instead, the term 壬生狼(Mibu-Ro: Wolves of Mibu) WAS insulting. Seven 15:20, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
Validity
[edit]it's been said much of this information is questionable by content .. as in more referencing, more local japanese sources are needed. More so that trivia section is needed to be cleaned up to be focused into a larger scale section detailing possible information from anime articles, or other articles. Osharecurry (talk) 03:48, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
Needs way more information and sources
[edit]I noticed there's no more proper references or citations to sources besides japanese links, and some possible books. There is way more places to source your information from. There is neutrality issues in the information, and some other issues, i think it needs to be expanded and some of the sections cleaned up. If you think i'm in correct just come talk to me on my talk page and we'll discuss it there. --Osharecurry (talk) 04:05, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

Paragraph about Hijikata's poetry
[edit]Hey everyone - would love to add more info on his poetry, cite it both in Japanese and English. Do you think it makes sense for the page? PorsianaF (talk) 23:22, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
- For example, here we've got lots of translations: https://shinsengumi-archives.tumblr.com/post/683071924948058112/hijikata-toshizos-haiku-poems although the source itself is not very reputable
- another source: https://www.japanese-wiki-corpus.org/person/Toshizo%20HIJIKATA.html
- source with photos: http://www.toshizo.com/takara/toshi020.html
- more about Moeyo Ken: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moeyo_Ken
- also this link http://www.hijikata-toshizo.jp is not active anymore PorsianaF (talk) 23:41, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
- Wikis, including Wikipedia, are not reliable sources so those should not be used. The others also seem poor at best. It is unclear what you want to add to the article but regardless, these sources should not be used. S0091 (talk) 23:53, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
