Succession Boxes

[edit]

I noticed there is a succession box in this article that does not show in the read mode and only shows n the edt mode. Part of the information in the succession box incudes positions Davis was nominatedfor, which I have not seen in a succession boc before. I did not want to remove or make chages to the successio box until I heard from othe ediors regarding this. Thanks --BuzyBody (talk) 22:58, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'll review this shortly. Wizardman 18:49, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Here's what I found:

  • Given the article's size, it could probably stand to have a longer lead.
  • "They would have six children" They had six children - the former sounds a bit too passive for me.
  • " but after suffering from attacks of hemoptysis (bleeding in the lungs,) he" the comma should be outside the parenthesis
  • In the refs, for the congressional bios you have Bolton in app caps once but not the other time; keep consistent.

Overall not much to fix. I'll put the article on hold and will pass when fixed. As an aside, I didn't see any spots that felt light, but I do have access to the Plain Dealer archives if there's any spots that you'd like to expand a bit. Wizardman 20:45, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Wizardman: I think I've cleared up all of the issues you raised. Thanks for the review! --Coemgenus (talk) 15:51, 24 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good. I'll do a skim of the archives just to make sure there's nothing missed of note; if there isn't then I'll pass it tomorrow. Wizardman 02:58, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I'd be glad to add more if anything turns up. --Coemgenus (talk) 10:46, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Didn't find anything of note, so I'll pass the article as a GA. Wizardman 21:34, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
