Hi folks, just doing some updating for the article. I have added some sections and a few relevant links. At this stage I am not using direct references to the school webpage - that may become necessary at some stage, just for now, I am looking for secondary citations. I am also going to look into the history more at some stage and will investigate what the local newspapers and libraries have in their files. At some stage, I will take some photos and get a gallery up as well. Feel free to give feedback - nothing is irreversible!Realitylink (talk) 05:42, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
So, you will see I have added a lot of information - all hopefully well referenced. I have been keeping an eye on the degree of detail and use of quotations. I think it is ok at the moment because capturing the culture of the school is important and some of this is well encapsulated in direct quotes. Open to feedback on this though. I am not sure about the information that is currently in the Facilities section. Some of what is there could go the History section, and Facilities perhaps include such things as the Marae? I found it tricky to do a continuous history - there is a lot of detail, too much, in Lynette Mountier's excellent book, so opted to kind of weave it around the timeframes of the different principals. The page does have character I reckon and of course, people can follow up on any of the references for more detail. Realitylink (talk) 00:56, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
