Contested deletion
[edit]This page is not unambiguously promotional, just because it explains its purpose. The organziation has been around since 1981 and works with the WHO on African health issues. I am editing it now nevertheless to bring it down in size so please give me a chance to correct. The org deserves a page and I welcome any edits. --Akrasia25 (talk) 11:32, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
- Just looking up the advice given on this issue,
"This applies to pages that are exclusively promotional and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to conform with Wikipedia:NOTFORPROMOTION. If a subject is notable and the content could plausibly be replaced with text written from a neutral point of view, this is preferable to deletion. Note: Any article that describes its subject from a neutral point of view does not qualify for this criterion."
I would say that the subject is notable with many RS's and can be rewritten to make it less promotional.--Akrasia25 (talk) 11:43, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
