This page currently redirects to the Harvard International Relations Council page, but it is unaffiliated with the HIRC; it is in fact a separate student organization that was founded by students unaffiliated with the HIRC. As such, I am removing the redirect and replacing this article with a stub. I know that the consensus before was to combine these articles together, but the new combination into the Harvard IRC page excludes this conference. I do claim that it is notable, since there are third party media articles about it. Optimusnauta (talk) 18:58, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

Activities: If more than two-thirds of that section refer to evening activities rather than describing a WorldMUN-specific character (if that exists) of committee work, something appears to go wrong. I do not deem it false to refer altogether to a design of "WorldMUN-spirit", as this is a slogan used by the organizers with the desire to display a certain direction. Website
[edit]The article has .org. Is http://theworldmun.com/ the same thing? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 13:42, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
Lack of NPOV
[edit]Hi!
The language used in this article is terrible. 'a competitive bidding process'? 'unique forum'? 'ideal size'?
Rewording needed. Also, there seems to permanently be controversy around the logistics of WorldMUN whenever attendance occurs - perhaps a 'controversy' section should be added? Hentheden (talk) 09:57, 9 April 2017 (UTC)
Plagiarism
[edit]It seems that this Article's conference activities plagiarized (WP:PLAGIARISM), word per word, several descriptions from the 2014 WorldMUN brochure. This is not acceptable on Wikipedia, and I have therefore eliminated the text. Access to this particular brochure potentially shows that the editor may have a conflict of interest WP:COI, so please review the guidelines if you belong to the WorldMUN team, as you must disclose Conflicts of Interest. 2014 Best large delegation
[edit]The 2014 best delegation award was given to the Peruvian Universities Debate Team per source.[1] I find it dubious that Universidad Simón Bolívar won the same award. I can only find vague unofficial claims by a couple venezuelans on Twitter, and no evidence for it. I'm therefore flagging that claim as dubious. Pilaz (talk) 19:12, 3 June 2019 (UTC)
Discussion of capitalization of MUN at Talk:Model United Nations
[edit]You're invited to contribute to a discussion at Model United Nations to determine whether uppercase "Model" should be kept or lowercase "model" should be adopted. Thank you, Pilaz (talk) 17:10, 18 October 2021 (UTC)
