"He served with the United States Navy during World War II. He was a United States medial corpsman, but was later assigned to do work in motion pictures.[3] For this assignment, he worked with John Ford on films for the U.S. Military in 1917."
The dates in this statement must be wrong. He wasn't born until 1921, and the US participated in World War 2 from December 1941 to August 1945. Perhaps the statement is intended to refer to his father. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Darkstar8799 (talk • contribs) 14:48, 1 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for pointing that out. The original source was talking about his father. I removed the date, although the rest of the information was correct. Amgisseman(BYU) (talk) 19:04, 1 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The article states "At the time of his death, he was the last living member of the John Ford Stock Company.[4]" which is referenced by " Bergan, Ronald (30 Dec 2012). "Harry Carey Jr obituary". The Guardian. Retrieved 23 May 2016.". I feel this statement is incorrect with the Wikipedia page for the John Ford Stock Company lists at least one actor that is still living: Patrick Wayne. So either the John Ford Stock Company page is in correct or the obit by the Guardian is incorrect thereby making this statement in the article incorrect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rsstorey (talk • contribs) 07:49, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
