This is my first Wiki page so any help is appreciated. I was a customer of Happy Computers back in 1983. I've kept in touch with Richard Adams over the years and did an interview with him recently. Eggzactly (talk) 19:09, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

zero latency writing

Where did you get that term? From Mr. Adams?

I never heard it called like that before. It was used to be called buffered or just fast write. "zero latency" doesn't seem to be accurate, because in some sense it has even bigger latency. The latency of the reply to the computer is reduced to almost zero, but the latency of the actual write on disk was increased, precisely because it was buffered and delayed.Ijor (talk) 05:04, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
