Dr. Diyab is an award-winning Syrian writer, producer and TV commentator on British media.[1] She is also the Founder & Director of Liberty Media Productions in the UK. She has also written more than six successful Arab soap operas and produced several documentaries which have been aired across the Middle East, Europe and the UK, and have featured in international film festivals. She launched LIBERTY Blog as part of LIBERTY Magazine, which will be a window to the changing face of Arabia post Arab Spring. [2] She was born in Libya from a diplomate Syrian father with a Palestinian-descent , and a Lebanese mother whose family moved to Syria from Turkish-descent. She worked as a presenter on the Egyptian talk show Lady of Ladies as well as holding a regular guest spot on Egypt’s Hala Sarhan Show. Recently she hosted a weekly talk show from London on ANB TV in London. She is the founder of Liberty Media Productions.[3] She was listed in Aliqtisadi Magazine as one of the most influential women in Syria for 2011.She was profiled in the “Women Like Us” exhibition that celebrated inspirational Muslim women.[4]
