Merger
[edit]Merge, of course. It's a foregone conclusion, as they are the same place in the same context. The English classicists all use Hagia Triada and this Wiki is in English.Dave 01:05, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
Destroyed by the Turks?
[edit]I removed the "Destroyed by the Turks in 1897." phrase. In 1897 the Ottoman rule of Crete effectively ended by a series of uprisings but there does not seem to be any evidence of Turks destroying the churches. (http://www.1911encyclopedia.org/Crete. Also [Encyclopedia Of Ancient Greece By Nigel Guy Wilson]) You are welcome to put it back in if you supply incontrovertible evidence that Turks destroyed them in 1897.
