Spectral type & group of star
[edit]Is it main sequence star (solar-like)? It is young star with age > 2 GYr & mass 1.0 Msun according exoplanets catalog. As a result it must be G3V-G1V for main sequence with life span 10 GYr. But it has different spectral types in different sources: it's G8 here SIMBAD - HD 100777 & it's K0 here exoplanet.eu - hd_100777. According this source The HARPS search for southern extra-solar planets it is sun-like star, that is some of G(V). It looks like it's heavier than 1.0 Msun and it's subgiant, K(IV) or G(IV) or some star of giants group. Or is it young active variable orange-yellow dwarf (K0V ←→ G8V)? It would be good to have some clarification in article. Anton Kopiev (talk) 08:53, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
