I've removed two references to traditions dating Guy's life to the 13th century, because these don't exist. The Guy of Warwick *romance* dates to the 13th century, but all versions of it place Guy himself in the 10th.
This article says there was an official Keeper of the sword during the reign of Elizabeth I, but the article on the giant Colbrande claims a keeper with a wage during the reign of Henry VIII. The section in Colbrande should be verified and moved here, as it has no place in that article anyway. Mastakos (talk) 03:06, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
