I haven't actually been to this physical location, but the claim that the old site of the prison is located in St. Louis and it is the default location of Google maps appears to be in conflict. Maybe Google maps changed its default location. When I open google maps and zoom in using the zoom bar, it puts me at a location outside of Coffeyville, Kansas. However, I found this article because Google has the location that is their current default center marked with a link to this article. But the real Gratiot Street Prison was probably located here. Checkerboard Square is what the purina website claims is their address, which is right next to Gratiot Street. -- Suso (talk) 01:12, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think I figured this one out. The user who first added GPS coordinates for this site used the default google maps coordinates by mistake. I've found coordinates pretty close to what is the right location and changed it. -- Suso (talk) 02:16, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
So basically now Google needs to update its map, and then that part needs to be removed from the article? (it is what brought me to this article; also if you look at the same coordinates in Google Earth, there's a ton of businesses that got placed there)?
