Origin of the name
[edit]Is it safe to add that it is called after Gower Peninsula in Wales? Rather than after one of the many people named Gower (surname)? GuidoGer (talk) 14:19, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
London Borough
[edit]Can anyone add which London Borough, Gower Street is in? Skinsmoke (talk) 11:19, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
- Camden. It's not included in the article as although it's in the borough, it's not in Camden Town itself (the borough is larger than the area it's named for), and "Gower Street is in Camden" would be potentially misleading. – iridescent 11:22, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
- Nobody asked to write "Gower Street is in Camden", which is indeed misleading, but something like "It belongs to the Borough of Camden", possibly adding "but it not in Camden Town itself (the borough is larger than the area it is named for)". GuidoGer (talk) 14:24, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
