Corporate Guff
[edit]Stop taking out my cited material and replacing it with corporate guff from GE's annual report, please. Famousdog 13:50, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- For future reference, the ISP address 217.169.17.109 is registered as belonging to Unit(e), a green energy supplier that appears to have changed its name to... well, well, lookee here... Good Energy. Edits by this ISP address should be viewed with skepticism. Famousdog 21:37, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
Citations/References
[edit]Why are references to blogs regarded universally by Famousdog as 'unreliable sources'? A BBC 'blog' that covers a news programme is rather different to a random anonymous blog? --Kjw (talk) 12:16, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
Category?
[edit]Do Good Energy actually generate any electricity? I was under the impression that they bought and sold it, making them a supplier, not a generator... Vanky 07:28, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
- Yes I think they're principally a supplier - is there a supplier category? The Land 21:24, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
They own Delabole, 10 turbines, total max capacity 4MW. Kjw 11:09, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
re-power this asset
[edit]What on earth does "plans to re-power this asset in late 2009" mean? Sounds like internal management speak.

Criticism invalid
[edit]The quote from The Ecologist (reference 40) falls for the common fallacy that the mix from the grid is immutable. However, it is immediately affected by what goes in (they even say so later in the paragraph). If I pay twenty bucks into your bank account on your birthday and you withdraw twenty, you don’t get the same notes. The ones you get could have been paid in by a hoodlum who mugged a pensioner. But it’s still a present from me. Same with electrons. It should be noted that this criticism is invalid. Freddie Orrell (talk) 06:49, 24 September 2021 (UTC)
