New Photo
[edit]The new picture at the top of the page does a very poor job representing Glenwood Springs, showing mostly i-70 and the Colorado River, missing most of the city entirely. It should be reverted or replaced. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.197.85.208 (talk) 20:07, 21 August 2016 (UTC)

Clean up; advert & tone tags
[edit]@Magnolia677, thank you for cleaning up the promotional tone in this article. I had placed those tags some time ago, and also did some clean up about a year ago. It seemed that the Chamber of Commerce was using the article as though it was a brochure for tourism. You've devoted a lot of work and effort to go through the article with a fine toothed comb which takes a lot of time. It's much better now. I think it's fine to remove the maintenance tags, but wanted to check with you first in the event that there is more clean up that you think needs to be done. Netherzone (talk) 14:52, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
- @Netherzone: Thanks for the kind words. I'm still chipping away at this article. Sometimes they become another Facebook page for the city. I'll nix the tags, or you can do it. Cheers! Magnolia677 (talk) 15:02, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
- You go ahead and remove once you think it's clean. I'll keep it watchlisted, since several of these small-town Colorado articles tend to be a magnet for tourist promo. Netherzone (talk) 15:24, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
