[edit]Something tells me that someone is just messing around here.
The other naval commander?
[edit]While not exactly necessary in this article, it might be good to mention who was the other German naval officer convicted of war crimes. If not in this article, at least in von Ruckteschell's article.
I'd also have to say that the German name "Helmut" is normally written without an H at the end, although since I don't have any direct references on this man's name, I'll restrain myself from editing it. It's quite possible that the German spelling of this name has changed over time, considering that he was born in the 19th century. If anybody has any sources to back up my statement that'd be good, as for myself, I can't claim to have 100% certainty on this. Neoncitylights 02:46, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
- For the first point,I’m not clear why; a link to a page on war criminals of WWII, or of the Kreigsmarine, (if there was one) might make more sense. The editor is probably thinking of the Peleus incident, for which several of the officers of U-852 were later convicted and shot.
- For the second point, Muggenthaler gives “Hellmuth? as the spelling.Xyl 54 08:13, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
