This claim MUST be referenced to PROOF that he ghost directed, not an obscure interview with Russell saying so. If genuine proof exists then please provide it. If not, don't include it. This is potentially defaming the dead. If this claim is true then it should be very easy to prove, right? Even a reference of another cast member backing up the claim. So far all we have is a vague statement in a lone interview. Best regards. --Nikoz78 (talk) 07:02, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It's well known that Stallone used him on 2 films to ghost direct, and Val Kilmer has backed up Kurt Russell's statements. There is no "proof". This is not a court of law. It is not defaming the dead. Give me a break. Ghost directing does not mean he wasn't on set, and didn't call action and cut. He did. It means that he was working directly with Stallone and Russell and making the films they wanted to make, not his own personal vision. This comes down to shot lists, storyboards, script approval, and who's making the real creative decisions. It's done all the time. It's not that big a deal. It doesn't mean he did on every film either. Some times actors and directors are friends, and the director will ghost for a movie star for many reasons. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.27.143.35 (talk) 21:52, 20 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
