Title italic
[edit]The title is currently partially italicized.
It's a weird English spelling for the dish, but I think this is what it's often spelled as. Reason it's weird is because "gat-" is a Korean word, romanized using the Revised Romanization system. "Kimchi" is now generally considered a valid word in English (I'm pretty sure this is true) and so we don't italicize it. It's also romanized using the McCune-Reischauer system. So two different systems in one name, and weird italicization.
If I'm wrong on anything, please correct me, but I think this is right toobigtokale (talk) 05:28, 28 September 2023 (UTC)
- This is toobigtokale on new account; I think I'm wrong and the whole thing should be italicized. It's an ad hoc romanization but still a romanization. seefooddiet (talk) 00:24, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
