I uploaded the logo. Can this be added? https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:GOAT_Group_Logo_Black_(2).png#%7B%7Bint%3Alicense-header%7D%7D FastnloudCov (talk) 23:27, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
- Done I appreciate you following the request guidelines (finally - as opposed to using the WikiProject companies talk page). I added the logo. I will look at your request below but for future you may want to also include the edit request template or have these all in one section. No complaints, but it may be easier for others responding to the request. Cheers! CNMall41 (talk) 00:35, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
Additional Requests
[edit]- In intro section: can we change marketplace to platforms?
GOAT Group is a holding company that operates e-commerce platforms for sneakers, apparel, and accessories. Formed in 2018, it operates the online marketplaces GOAT, Flight Club, alias, and Grailed.
- In history section: can we change the first marketplace reference to platform and the second marketplace refernce to brands.
GOAT Group's origins date back to 2015 with the founding of the online sneaker marketplace GOAT.[2] In 2018, GOAT acquired retail sneaker consignment company Flight Club. GOAT and Flight Club continued to operate as two separate marketplaces and led to the creation of GOAT Group.[2] The acquisition was followed by a $100 million investment from Foot Locker in 2019.[3]
- In GOAT brand section: change both marketplace to platform
GOAT is an online marketplace for sneakers, apparel and accessories. Founded in 2015, it uses a ship-to-verify model and is one of the largest marketplaces for buying and selling new and vintage sneakers, apparel and accessories.[7] FastnloudCov (talk) 23:31, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
- This looks more like semantics but the LA Times reference uses "platform" and the brand uses it in the disambiguation (GOAT (platform)). I will get that changed. I am assuming this would be the same for the use in the platform page? --CNMall41 (talk) 00:39, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
- There was actually only one mention on the platform page which I updated. --CNMall41 (talk) 00:41, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
