Place of birth
[edit]I happen to know him personally and he explained that he was born in Swansea ("but Wikipedia unfortunately lists London") — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C7:8597:D900:D137:3AAE:8C90:93A1 (talk) 09:15, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
I did change Lloyd's place of birth from London to Swansea. I am not 100%, but 80% sure, that this will be right - see the weblinks in the article and other pages in the web. --Dietrich-Franz S. (talk) 15:07, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
- Agree that the evidence cited in the article is ambiguous between London and Swansea. The British Academy Fellowship ref, formerly cited for his birthplace, says nothing about it so I moved it to those areas it does support. Can anyone help out? --SteveMcCluskey (talk) 15:44, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
- Recent edits say in the lede that Lloyd was born in London while the first section says he was born in Swansea. Since the evidence currently available seems to be inconclusive, I have removed both claims. --SteveMcCluskey (talk) 12:45, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
