2 bridges, 1 article
[edit]The replacement bridge, which will also be called the Fulton Road Bridge, is scheduled to open soon. I have begun updating the article to include that fact.THD3 (talk) 19:40, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
Any ideas about what to do with the infobox? From what I can tell, it is not formatted to accommodate two bridges. I am tweaking it as best I can. It is kosher to have two infoboxes on one page - one for the original bridge, one for the replacement?THD3 (talk) 21:02, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
- I suppose you could cross-reference the info for both new and old using line-breaks. I moved the images around a bit to sort of give a sense of linear continuity. I'm not sure if you'll like it. Mr. Florentine wasn't a fan of my designs...Ryecatcher773 (talk) 07:39, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
- Barring any more delays, the new bridge will be opening up soon. Once that takes place, I will head over to the west side and take some pictures. (I have a new camera with better resolution.) I see this as being similar to articles on makes and models of cars: find the best picture you can and put that in the infobox. The current photo is not bad, but it's not high resolution. Also, the old bridge was rather dilapidated at this point and about to be demolished.THD3 (talk) 12:41, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
