For what it's worth
[edit]- Frank P. O'Brien was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives in the 1890s. He was also Sheriff of Jefferson County, Alabama; Mayor of Birmingham, Alabama; publisher of the Birmingham Age-Herald; and builder of the O'Brien Opera House, which was Birmingham's primary large meeting hall for decades. His daughter Bossie was herself a prominent suffragist. --Dystopos (talk) 03:09, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
