Le Monde
[edit]The surprising claim that the newspaper Le Monde "was notable for spreading anti-American, pro-Soviet disinformation to the French population" really needs to be backed up with more than just one unverifiable source. I've never heard Le Monde be accused of being in any way, historically, used for Soviet "disinformation". Specific examples would be crucial here.
