Author
[edit]I was the original author of this article; it was split off from the "Fraktur (typeface)" article. Part of the reason I wrote it was to bring some academic accuracy about the Pennsylvania Germans to Wikipedia. I'm not pleased to see the change about the "Pennsylvania Dutch" [sic] as that's inaccurate; however, I do recognize the inconsistency of Wiki usage on Pennsylvania Germans. The language entry is "Pennsylvania German" while the ethnic entry is "Pennsylvania Dutch" [sic]. I've started a discussion in the "Pennsylvania Dutch" [sic] section to correct this error. Accordingly, I have included the "perhaps more formally" designation in this article as well.— Preceding unsigned comment added by {} (talk • contribs)

wheres
[edit]- Place of creation also includes Alsace, Switzerland, and Rhineland which are also contributed to the folk art.
Does this new sentence mean that the Pennsylvania Dutch tradition inherits from those places, or that Fraktur art is practiced there in essentially the same form? —Tamfang (talk) 06:31, 7 November 2024 (UTC)
