I removed an unsourced sentence about the song being about itinerant farm workers in Canada, for which sourcing had been called but not provided. The POV context of that statement is from the Canadian Encyclopedia online, which itself offers no source for the comment, and unless Tyson has explicitly stated the point - only the lyric itself is a definitive source for the song's "meaning," and that is what I edited in. The song is overwhelmingly "about" a relationship; its geographical/sociological context makes for interesting speculation but is neither the main point of the song nor essential for understanding the lyric.Sensei48 (talk) 16:16, 18 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Swedish covers

[edit]

No criticism of Sweden and Swedes, but the reference to two obscure Swedish cover versions of this song seems very peripheral. Is this really notable? Ef80 (talk) 21:17, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

music

[edit]

Is this in 4/4, 2/2, 3/4 time? Is it fast or slow? Is it in a minor key (as one would expect given the lyrics)? What about other musical aspects of this musical piece?2605:A601:F300:700:0:0:0:1349 (talk) 22:57, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
