The Old Florida Museum, which was merged here per the discussion below was subject to a 2014 AfD. Dropping link here for history purposes. Has no bearing on 2021 merger. StarMississippi19:22, 11 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I propose to merge Old Florida Museum into Florida Agricultural Museum. I think that the content in the OFM article can easily be explained in the context of this one, especially as OFM is now operating within FAM. They have independent histories, but neither article is too long that discussing both in one would be an issue. StarMississippi20:13, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Weak opposeSupportbased on discussion below. – The Grid (talk) 17:21, 7 December 2021 (UTC) These seem to be two different addresses that are not in close proximity. My main concern is I am not aware an article can be assigned multiple geocodes. I think it is ok if both articles are kept separate as stubs as they both have possibilities to be expanded. (Courtesy ping for @Star Mississippi: as this was posted 4 months ago.) – The Grid (talk) 16:39, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks @The Grid for the ping and comments. I believe per their site that the Old Farm Museum is now co-locted with the Agricultural Museum (LOCATED IN THE FLORIDA AGRICULTURAL & RURAL MUSEUM). Or by the geocodes issue to do you mean their histories? I'm not super familiar with that element. Thanks! StarMississippi16:43, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I was noting the {{coord}} template. (I just found out they are geocodes) My concern is perhaps more technical as when you try to use coord more than once, it will ignore anything beyond its first use. – The Grid (talk) 16:58, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It's no problem! To note, that's the main reason for my oppose vote as I'm not sure if it's technically possible. I think if there's no way to do it, the redirect page for Old Florida Museum could have a coord assigned to it with the FAM maintaining its own coord. – The Grid (talk) 17:20, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I think the coordinates at least now match OFM's current physical location. Not sure where to get help on the broader issue. Will have a look at the template's talk to see if any editor can help. StarMississippi19:28, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If the articles are merged, the resulting article should have a single set of coordinates. It appears that right now, both articles have the same coordinates, so everything looks fine unless I am missing something. – Jonesey95 (talk) 02:16, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks @Jonesey95. I just did that, but wasn't sure with respect to @The Grid's note that " when you try to use coord more than once, it will ignore anything beyond its first use". So does that mean the coordinates will only show one museum and not that two are at that location? Is that a wikidata thing? I'm honestly not sure what I'm asking since the template element is confusing to me. StarMississippi02:46, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The coordinates were the same for both items? I was concerned of two different locations at different coordinates to no longer being shown with the merge. I was thinking that technically the two places would be physically at different locations after a merge. Oh man, I can see how this got confusing. – The Grid (talk) 02:54, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see a problem. If you want to go ahead with the merge, feel free to do so and ping me afterwards if you'd like me to take a look at the results. – Jonesey95 (talk) 02:56, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The ??? in that should the coord of Old Florida Museum stay with the redirect? Even though the pages will merge, they are two separate locations with viewing the items through any of the WikiAtlas features. – The Grid (talk) 03:05, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That's helpful. Thanks @The Grid. I think this got further confused by the Old Florida Museum article's text being updated with the new location, but not the coordinates, which led to your concern about them not being in the same location. Could the coordinates element be handled the same way other physical moves are? I'm not sure what WikiAtlas is or where that info needs to display to be helpful. Will do @Jonesey95, assuming consensus emerges to merge. Thank you! StarMississippi03:25, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure what the right thing to do is, but you can have multiple coordinates in one article, but only one in the title. If a museum has, for example, two locations, you can put the main one in the title and refer to the smaller on in the text. For example, you could say something like
The Florida Agricultural Museum, located at {{coord|29.64307|N|81.28066|W|display=inline,title}} is blah blah blah. ... A branch of the museum, which was previously the Old Florida Museum, is located at {{coord|29.91749|N|81.32239|W|display=inline}}.
My gut too is that it's uncontested/so low profile that folks are indifferent. Didn't realize until your link that I could perform it, so I'll do so momentarily. Apologies to anyone watching if I flood your watchlist to get it 100%. Thanks for your assistance/input. StarMississippi19:13, 11 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
