The emperor's death is a fringe theory

The death of the emperor Dawit in this battle is a fringe theory stated only by Richard Pankhurst. scholars such as Mohammed Hassen, j. Spencer Trimingham, E.A. Wallis Budge, and Taddesse Tamrat all put the emperor's e regnal end and death almost a decade before the date of the supposed battle.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4] Its best to remove the emperor's name from the leaders' list since even the original sources doesn't list him as such.
