Jovan Kirovski

[edit]

I added Jovan Kirovski to the 1990s squad and am trying to figure out why he was erased. Kirovski was a member of the reserve side that the other listed players were on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.189.43.9 (talk) 15:06, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's time to add the next batch of Fergie's fledglings. 2000s: Frederico Macheda, Rafael, Fabio Da Silva, Danny Welbeck, Darron Gibson, etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.104.153.100 (talk) 18:41, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Have those players ever been referred to in the media as a new "batch" of Fergie's Fledglings? – PeeJay 18:47, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge/Delete?

[edit]

Does this really require its own article? Would this be better merged into the Alex Ferguson years sub-article, or merged with 'Busby Babes' article and named something like 'Famous generations of Manchester United players'? The Busy Babes were iconic, and the term was very widely used and still is, the term 'Fergie's Fledglings' is less so, and very seldom used (I can't recall ever hearing the term, except in the odd newspaper article). Thoughts? Tomlock01 (talk) 19:46, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The term is dying out, I'll admit, partly because United aren't really producing their own youth talent any more. However, it was heavily used in the mid-1990s, and considering that team was the most successful in the club's history, I would say the article is worth keeping. Feel free to nominate at AfD though. – PeeJay 01:01, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

2000s Fledglings

[edit]

There should be a new batch of 2000s....

The terms have been loosely used in a lot of newspaper and even Fergie's also said that couple of times. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.119.170.123 (talk) 03:43, 1 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's time to put 2000s Fledglings!

Surely those would be the 2010s Fledglings? – PeeJay 13:58, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
