rename?
[edit]I saw this article in the new articles list.
I assumed it would be an article about the use of the term "family jewels" to refer to a man's testes. Surely this article should be renamed something like: Family Jewels (ACDC album), or simply Family Jewels (album)? That would leave the name-space open to use for the common usage.
There are two kinds of devices called a "pantograph". The original pantograph was a mechanical device that let someone write both an original and a copy at the same time. You can see Nick Nolte use one when he played Thomas Jefferson in Jefferson in Paris. The other kind of pantograph is the device that sits atop electrically powered trains, and most modern trams and streetcars, to provide electricity. The original pantograph is so obscure that many people who write articles on electrically powered trains assume the pantograph article refers to the device for powering trains, not the obscure, obsolete, copying device.
Every couple of months I go to the pantograph page, click on the "what links here" button. Generally find articles that linked to the wrong pantograph article. And I go to them, and correct them. It is a drag.
I predict that if this article remains under its current name it will serve as a constant source of confusion. So, would you consider moving it to a safer name? -- Geo Swan 22:02, 29 October 2005 (UTC)
- I just added a disambiguation on top of the page to redirect those thinking about the euphemism vs. the ACDC album name. Amchow78 07:49, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
Is "Baby, Please Don't Go" a lipsync?
[edit]I'm filling in some details for the AC/DC section of "Baby, Please Don't Go". On the 1975 Countdown video, is Bon Scott miming to the studio version by Dave Evans? Does anyone know if AC/DC have performed this song since Evans left? Sources if possible. / edg ☺ ★ 12:06, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
Baby Please Don't Go with Dave Evans is never released. Bon Scott recorded his own version on the album High Voltage. It was later included on the compilation 74 Jailbreak. Bon performed the song live on various concerts up until 1979. The version on Family Jewels has live vocals over studio recorded music.

- Thanks. I guessed everything wrong on Baby, Please Don't Go. Do you have a source for this? / edg ☺ ★ 09:13, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
