Participating Nations
[edit]I have created a table of the participating nations for every tournament. It's not yet finished though, but I promise I will finish it. Leoisiah 15:01, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
- See User:Howard the Duck/Test. It's too long, I'll find a way to condense it. --Howard the Duck 15:27, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
Yes, you're table is much better. Thanks! Leoisiah 03:33, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- I'll find a way to fit that and the one you made on a normal screen resolution. --Howard the Duck 03:35, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: No consensus to move yet. Minimal participation after 2-week listing. Perhaps re-request a move at a later date per WP:NAMECHANGES (non-admin closure) — Andy W. (talk · ctb) 21:24, 2 September 2016 (UTC)
FIBA Asia Championship → FIBA Asia Cup – The tournament formerly known as the FIBA Asia Championship is now known as the FIBA Asia Cup starting the 2017 edition. Note that the tournament now known as the FIBA Asia Challenge was formerly named as "FIBA Asia Cup" and this article will need a "Template:for" disambiguation template. - Oppose. Per WP:NAMECHANGES, we should wait until reliable sources begin referring to this by the new name, which I don't see that they do yet. Furthermore, the proposed name is ambiguous, since it also refers to the FIBA Asia Challenge, known was known as the FIBA Asia Cup from 2012 to 2014 (and many incoming links still refer to that). I've therefore changed FIBA Asia Cup to a dab page, and we should wait for further clarity once things kick off in 2017. — Amakuru (talk) 13:01, 2 September 2016 (UTC)

FIBA Asia Championship → FIBA Asia Cup – The name of the competition has changed. AquilaXIII (talk) 03:38, 30 May 2017 (UTC)--Relisting. Yashovardhan (talk) 16:19, 5 June 2017 (UTC)
- @AquilaXIII: please correct your request move. As per bot notification, you requested to move this article to "Jamesville Reservoir". -WayKurat (talk) 09:06, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
- YOU HAVE MY FULL SUPPORT MAN! This is ridiculous, the name was changed long time ago. Does anyone still care about Asian basketball in Wikipedia? I don't think so. 2001:8003:876E:B200:A9F4:DA29:851:B817 (talk) 06:15, 8 June 2017 (UTC)
- Pile on support. Nearly all media are now using the new name to refer to this event. –HTD 14:23, 10 June 2017 (UTC)
