Article name
[edit]Consistency is all well and dandy, but "FFVS 22" is solely a wikipedia invention. The reason to omit proper designations (like in Saab 37 Viggen) is that those articles regard all variants (AJ 37, SK 37, JA 37 and so forth) and their inclusion into the article name would be too cumbersome. J 22 was designed to solve the lack of fighters, and there are no other variants. BP OMowe (talk) 12:41, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
- I second that! The name should be changed to FFVS J 22. Per80 (talk) 13:41, 4 June 2014 (UTC)
- Time to finally change this? The factory was specifically made to just make this plane. The name with prefix "J" was written in stone before even the construction of the plane has begun. If u want to be very technical the base plane can be called FFVS P 22, P for plane.--Blockhaj (talk) 13:03, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
