Eocetus wardii reclassified
[edit]The article should be updated to reflect that Eocetus wardii has been reassigned to the basilosaurid genus Basilotritus (Gol'din and Zvonok 2013). Therefore, a new page should be created for Basilotritus.
Pavel Gol'din and Evgenij Zvonok (2013). "Basilotritus uheni, a New Cetacean (Cetacea, Basilosauridae) from the Late Middle Eocene of Eastern Europe". Journal of Paleontology 87 (2): 254–268. doi:10.1666/12-080R.1. 68.4.28.33 (talk) 15:35, 31 July 2013 (UTC)Vahe Demirjian
- You are probably correct. I've created pages for a number of the genera listed in Archaeoceti, but Basilotritus is not one of them... yet. Hold your breath! :) --Fama Clamosa (talk) 16:27, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
