Error in Summary

[edit]

An error exists in the summary where it refers to Mulroney as having served ‘One’ eight year term rather than two terms totalling eight years (and xxx days). Thoughts?? 2604:3D08:5F74:7F00:15AD:7D2F:48A0:56AD (talk) 18:55, 17 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's not an error. Canadian prime ministers do not have terms of any specific length. Mulroney was sworn in as PM once and only once, in 1984, and continued in office until he resigned in 1993. The fact that he won two parliamentary elections during that time is not the same as him having two terms. The term of a parliament is not the same as his term in office as PM.
