Parliamentary electoral system
[edit]If I can rely on the electoral law of 2008 on the website of the ACE Project (article 147), the parliamentary electoral system is a mixed one : voters can only choose among closed lists, and seats are awarded proportionally among the lists (simple quota largest remainder), but if a list wins a majority of votes, it gets all the seats. --Bancki (talk) 11:47, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
This is confoirmed by IFES Election Guide, by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and by the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA) (Comprendre l'organisation des élections au Tchad p. 24).--Bancki (talk) 19:53, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
