Family history?

[edit]

This family history section, written in the first person... where did this come from? Is this sourced? A quote? A copyright violation? --Midnightdreary (talk) 17:28, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Former Texas state park

[edit]

Why is this a former Texas state park, or is this an error? -- WikiEditor668 (talk) 07:56, 5 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Merge discussion

[edit]

The Eisenhower birthplace is not a state park. It used to be; however, budget cuts forced the state's parks department to surrender the site to the state's historical commission. This transfer happened more than a year before the state park article was created making it obsolete from the outset. Fortguy (talk) 05:04, 22 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the current Eisenhower State Park is on the shore of Lake Texoma miles away from the birthplace in central Denison. Fortguy (talk) 05:11, 7 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
These are two separate sites governed by two separate authorities. No merge Nv8200p talk 22:04, 2 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
