Notability?

Can anyone articulate the rationale for NOT considering Ed Snodderly notable? He is a key figure in Americana music. His lyrics were permanently inscribed onto the interior of the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, TN, incorporated with a permanent architectural and sculptural element in this iconic and genre-central building / institution. He had an on-screen credited role in the major motion picture "Oh Brother, Where art thou"...! Ed Snodderly, along with others, opened one of the greatest small-town old-timey music venues in America! It was a shame he did not have a Wikipedia article about him already. Thank you for making one!
