Notability
[edit]No references to establish notability beyond a rating from an australian publication that only began in 2008. I suspect this topic fails WP:BAND. -Verdatum (talk) 17:01, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Revised introduction for accuracy
[edit]This is Remy from Easy Star Records. We'd like to clarify and improve the accuracy of this article, but I am very new to Wikipedia editing. What I've done today is a small experiment. We can also provide better 3rd party sourcing for citations in the article. Looking forward to getting more involved. EasyStarStaff (talk) 16:53, 10 September 2010 (UTC)EasyStarStaff
- Remy, while the Wikipedia does not forbid it, we do not encourage either the subjects of biography articles, or their A&R representatives or record label workers to edit these articles. I would like to pass on information on a template to you- one we give to every new editor here, so that they might understand the guidelines for editing articles in the Wikipedia. You should honestly register a Username with the Wikipedia, and that will provide you with both a userpage and a talk page, if you have not done so already. The template can be placed on either page, and the talk page is essential so you can recieve help and information from other editors talk pages, and you may contact them in turn. Thank you for your interest in the Wikipedia- this is merely a difficult situation, attempting to keep the required NPOV required. Take a look at WP:MOS. Last, album covers only belong in the articles about the albums, and not in the infoboxes for the biographies. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 01:39, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
